HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED HOW TO CLEANSE YOUR CRYSTALS??
In this blog I will teach you different ways to cleanse crystals. Depending on the crystals and your intentions for that crystal.
WHY SHOULD YOU CLEANSE YOUR CRYSTALS??
Crystals hold the energy of anything or anyone it comes in contact with, after a while the crystals can hold onto many energies and become overwhelmed. After a long period of wearing or having a crystal without cleansing it can cause negative energy to build up and not be released. If you imagine a pot boiling on a stove without stirring or taking care of it it will bubble and eventually overflow. Which is the same thing with crystals, cleansing of them allows them to continue helping you without ”overflowing “. Crystals also change their frequency to match yours or serve you in a better way.
“Crying is cleansing. There's a reason for tears, happiness or sadness“
Smoke cleansing
cleansing your crystals with smoke is safe for all types of crystals and is a popular way to cleanse not only your crystals but yourself and home. Smoke cleansing involves burning incense, smudge sticks and other herbs. When burning your chosen” herbs“ wave your crystals through the smoke it produces and have an intention of cleansing all stagnant or negative energy within it. Smoke cleansing is very powerful on full moons, and is great for air signs e.g. Libra, and good if your intentions are to work on your heart chakra.
Salt water/ water cleansing
You can use water from a tap or river maybe moon water and salt water from the ocean or made by you to cleanse certain crystals. Pour chosen water in a bowl or dish deep enough to submerge your crystals which will purify them from any imbalances or negativity, perfect for crystals related to the element water and for water signs e.g. Scorpio, and great if your intentions relate to the sacral chakra.

Moonlight cleansing
Using the moonlight, especially on a full moon is an easy and powerful way to cleanse your crystals. Simply place your crystals outs in the moonlight overnight and let them soak up the power of the full moon and cleanse their negativity, if placing them outside worries you simply place them on a windowsill with good moonlight and it will work just as well. You can also place a jar of water there to make moon water which is good to drink, water plants, spells, cleansing crystals and cleaning. The moon is a beautiful sage way for all crystals and great for crystals with the intention of improving your third eye chakra.
Charging Your Crystals
Charging your crystals is important to amplify the energy your manifesting, simply using clear quartz, selenite and the sunlight to amplify the power of your crystals for extra confidence or whatever your intentions are. Be cautious that the suns light is powerful and can cause the colours in certain crystals to fade.
